'How to be a Photo Assistant'
This little hand book is the compilation of everything that
I've ever told new assistants first thing in the morning
when we are standing around the set cart drinking coffee,
and cleaning cameras and they ask me:
"How do I get to be a photo assistant? How do I get work.?"
I've had a dozen assistants and eight photographers go over
this document for accuracy and relevance; and I feel its
ready for viewing. Also included are some stories from a
number of photo assistants about shoots that some how got a
little out of hand.
The Photographers database file was created in FileMakerPro and will work
on both Mac's and PC's. It is a prettier version of the
database that I have used for years to keep track of my
clients, their studio information, contact numbers and info
on who they are, what they shoot, and if I wanted to work
with them a second time.

FMPro 8.0 here.
Then just open the enclosed file and get to work.
I do not guarantee that this hand book will get you work;
but if you read the whole thing and following the steps
exactly as I have laid them out there is no reason you can't
pick up a phone and get some photo assisting work.
